Recently, I had the opportunity to interview Mr. Shinji Hattori, President and CEO of Seiko Watch Corporation. Within the landmark Wako building in the heart of the Ginza shopping district, Mr. Hattori discussed how his family values have molded the way he runs Seiko, the importance of Japanese watchmaking, and the international launch of the Grand Seiko collection.

Keep a look out for future posts on Hodinkee which reveal an inside look into the world of Seiko and why this company may forever change the way you perceive the words “Made in Japan”.
